December 6th, 2007 – Paris, France.

Under the sponsorship and with the presence of Dr. Tarek Kamel Minister of Communication and Information Technology as well as Dr. Hazem Abdel Azeem, Senior Advisor to the Minister and new CEO of ITIDA, in a very positive and professional atmosphere GNSE General Manager Eng. Hossam El-Gamal and Exaprotect CFO Mr. Nicholas Quint have signed the MOA between the two companies where GNSE would exclusively represent Exaprotect in Egypt and will provide support services to the ME area. Furthermore, both companies started discussion about establishing a complementing Development Facility for the R&D department of Exaprotect. The ceremony took place at the CCIP (Paris Industry and Commerce Chamber) during the French-Egyptian Presidential council held at the CCIP 5-7 of December.

Exaprotect CFO highlighted that the choice of GNSE was based on the fact that it is the leading e-security provider in Egypt, with prestigious client base, strong support team and clear strategic vision. He also highlighted that the fact that GNSE is also leading in the Applications’ Development and e-learning with successful delivery in Europe is encouraging Exaprotect to consider co-investing in outsourcing part of its R&D development side to GNSE in Egypt.

GNSE General Manager highlighted that Exaprotect is one of the very few fast growing prestigious names in the security information and event management SIEM applications. It has been chosen by Gartner in its magic quadrant for SIEM along with several other prestigious awards. He also indicated that Exaprotect is answering what was considered an important pain in security information and events management by the Egyptian business community. Also Exaprotect is committed according to its top management to the Egyptian market.
