Novartis was created in 1996 from the merger of the Swiss based life sciences companies, Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz. At the time, the merger was the largest in corporate history.
Since the merger in 1996, Novartis has transformed itself from a diverse group, including agribusiness, to a highly focused leading healthcare company.
- CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
NOVARTIS is seeking to migrate old Sales Target Achievements (STA) System running on mainframe AS400 to new web-based intranet application through a well-designed, highly interactive, informative, and easy to maintain application. NOVARTIS wishes to stay on the competitive edge by providing better services, richer information for their decision maker.
- OUR RESPONSES
GNS provided a reliable and efficient intranet application, which serve NOVARTIS requirements and expectations. GNS developed data migration solution between two different systems; in addition GNS implemented a complex reporting system which provides the suitable information to the suitable system user with high performance data retrieval.
In addition, GNS provide system installation and support on the customer site.
- SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP WITH CUSTOMER
Based on the trusted relation founded after the successful delivery of Novartis STA system, Novartis signed contract of second phase of this project with GNSE to also GNSE and Novartis cooperated again as Novartis Signed contract with GNSE to develop portal to serve Kidney patients and donors.
